ADENOPLEURELLIDAE Huys, 1990

Adenopleurellidae are easily recognized by the presence of distinct, paired lateral glands on the cephalothorax and body somites, except the fourth one. According to Huys (1990) these glands could be considered as derivations of "pleural, secretory pores found in the same position in many other families".
