MIRACIIDAE Dana, 1846 (Willen, 2002) (syn. DIOSACCIDAE Sars, 1906)
"Miraciidae Dana, 1846, is a large family of benthic copepods, Harpacticoida [1]. It
includes three subfamilies, 64 valid genera, and 506 species (WoRMS Editorial Board 2020),
most of which were transferred from the former Diosaccidae family by Willen in 2002 [2].
In South Korea, 20 genera and 36 miraciid species identified at the species level have been
reported to date" (Yeom & Lee, 2023)
DIOSACCINAE Sars,1906 With 37 genera and 367 species, the Diosaccinae Sars, 1906 is by far the most species-rich subfamily of the Mira
ciidae Dana, 1846, followed by Stenheliinae Brady, 1880 with 11 genera and 86 species (WoRMS Editorial Board
2020).
ROBERTGURNEYA Apostolov & Marinov, 1988
The genus Robertgurneya was first diagnosed by Karl Georg Herman Lang in 1944, with the name commemorating Robert Gurney. Since Lang did not designate a type species, as required by the International Code of Zoological Nomenclature for generic names published since 1930, that name is not "available". The first authors to explicitly designate a type species were Apostolov & Marinov in 1988, and they are therefore considered the authors of the genus.

PSEUDOSTENHELIA Wells, 1967
The genus Pseudostenhelia, described by Wells (1967) to accomodate the species Pseudostenhelia prima from the littoral of the Inhaca Island (Mozambique), is one of the less diversified genus within the family Diosaccidae, including only the following four species:
Pseudostenhelia bathyalis Gómez, 2021
Pseudostenhelia prima Wells, 1967 [Africa, Mozambique; marine coastal]
Pseudostenhelia secunda Wells, 1971 [India; rivers, lakes]
