Novocrinia trifida Huys & Iliffe, 1998 [Belize; cave anchialine waters]
The other species in the family, Atergopedia vetusta Martines Arbizu & Moura, 1998, is not stygobitic since it was described from continental slope off Franz-Josef-Land (Arctic Ocean).
